Vital First Aid Workshop Information

Before your workshop 

  • Access/create your LEARNER PORTAL and complete any LEARNING TO DO (pre-course work) that may be assigned. If you have any pre-course work to complete it will be found under the LEARNING TO DO tab in your LEARNER PORTAL.
  • We recommend you review the first aid book and “CPR / Slings videos” also available on our website
  • Have a Smart Device ready that can access the LEARNER PORTAL. This device will be used during the workshop to complete assessments. Tablet-sized devices are ideal, or a smart phone/laptop etc can also be used, please ensure the operating system is updated, has access to the internet and uses CHROME as the browser
  • familiarise yourself with our COURSE CONDITIONS  UNIT REQUIREMENTS and COURSE ATTENDANCE INFORMATION before attending this course
  • Download your FREE eFirst Aid book – this isn’t required but is available to all Vital First Aid students as a great additional reference
  • We also require a verified USI number and date of birth before issuing any certification. A USI can be gained by visiting  https://www.usi.gov.au/students

Supporting your needs

We want you to succeed, to do so we need to know if you need any form of support. 
More information can be gained under COURSE CONDITIONS.

Please contact us ASAP if you  

  • require any assistance with things such as Language Literacy Numeracy or Digital skills
  • need a support person to attend with you at the course
  • have an assistance dog that you would like to attend with you 
  • require additional pre-course learning for those with learning differences
  • have any mental health concerns especially relating to past first-aid experiences

just to name a few things we can do.

The day of your workshop

  • Make sure you arrive around 15 minutes early – late arrivals may not be permitted to attend and a cancellation fee may apply.
  • Ensure you have a Smart Device that has accessed your Learner Portal
  • Most workshops will include ASSESSMENTS which are completed in your LEARNER POTAL during the workshop. These are found under the ASSESSMENTS TO DO tab
