Operate as part of an emergency control organisation (ECO)
Not only will fire warden and evacuation training assist your company to comply with legislative requirements for a safe workplace, but it can also save lives. Research has shown that fire safety training increases the level of fire safety knowledge and the accuracy of response to a fire emergency. All businesses throughout Australia must show evidence of emergency prevention and planning.
Our Warden training course satisfies Australian Standard AS 3745:2010 and is intended for Fire Wardens and other staff members who form part of the Emergency Control Organisation (ECO).
Courses are available throughout Sydney, Newcastle and the Central Coast.

We typically recommend completion of the First Attack Fire Fighting unit when attending Warden and Chief Warden training
Target Audience
This unit is specifically targeted to those that are or intend to be members of an Emergency Control Organisation in a workplace
Course Requirements
The Training Package for this course requires a student to be physically able to take on a leadership role, which includes giving clear directions under emergency conditions, making decisions appropriate to the situation and keeping others appropriately informed.
Students who are unable to satisfy the physical requirements of the course cannot be deemed competent or issued with a statement of attainment, even if the qualification is a necessary part of their employment conditions.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills are needed to attend this course.
Access to a computer with internet, as well as basic computer skills is required for completion of this unit.
If you have ANY special needs ( eg, language / literacy / numeracy difficulties, physical disabilities etc ) that you think may impact on your ability to complete this training please let us know prior to enrolling.
Participants will be required to carry various pieces of emergency equipment including fire extinguishers weighing as much as 25kg
Recertification requirements
Annual refresher for this unit is generally required with a maximum time of 24 months between refreshers
