Course Requirements

Only basic numeracy and literacy skills are needed to attend this course. Access to a computer with internet, as well as basic computer skills is required for completion of this unit

Participants MUST hold a current HLTAID003/011 Provide First Aid qualification valid for at least this calendar year. This is to ensure holders of the ERC certification maintain a current first aid qualification for the current AFL season.

Can I use my Bronze Medallion as a first aid certificate ? The Bronze Medallion is an excellent course, however it does not cover all aspects of First Aid as stipulated in the HLTAID011 Provide first aid and therefore is NOT equivalent. In fact, Surf Life Saving states that it only aligns with the Provide CPR National Unit of Competency
